We’re delighted to announce the 2025 TV Choice Awards will be hosted by comedian, writer, actor and presenter Jason Manford.
Salford-born comedian Jason has enjoyed a wide and varied career, starting by making his name on the stand-up circuit, before touring the UK and appearing on comedy juggernauts Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. Jason also earned the opportunity to entertain Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II when he was invited to take part in the Royal Variety Performance in 2009.
After discovering a talent for singing during ITV’s Born To Shine, Jason found himself treading the boards in a variety of musicals including critically acclaimed West End musical Sweeney Todd and hilarious musical comedy The Producers, starring in the lead role of timid accountant Leo Bloom.
Jason’s ability to turn his hand to dramatic acting has seen him nominated for Best Actor for his role in Ordinary Lies, take a guest star role in the much-loved BBC series Death In Paradise and has recently entertained audiences as headteacher Steve Savage in the BBC1 drama Waterloo Road.
As a presenter, Jason’s skills span both radio and television, as host of Absolute Radio’s Sunday morning breakfast show and as co-presenter of the BBC’s Children in Need telethon in 2022 and 2023, alongside other stars.
If you would like the chance to see Jason take to the stage at the 2025 TV Choice Awards, simply cast your vote in the final round of voting and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of tickets to this exclusive star-studded event. The event isn’t open to the public, so it’s a truly ‘money can’t buy’ prize.
