Host Lee Mack is on hand to whittle down 100 contestants, but who’ll make it to the final question that only one per cent of people can answer correctly? It often results is some entertaining answers… But will tonight’s 1%-er gamble their winnings for the £100,000 prize?

David Tennant hosts this year’s ceremony, from London’s South Bank Centre. The nominations – from 38 films in all – are divided into 25 categories. Oppenheimer has received the most, with a total of 13, including Best Director (Christopher Nolan) and Leading Actor while its box office rival Barbie only received five, although Margot Robbie, who brought the iconic doll to life, is a contender for Leading Actress.
MONDAY
The Way
BBC1, 9pm
Actor and activist Michael Sheen co-created (along with documentary maker Adam Curtis and Sherwood writer James Graham), directs and appears in this drama, which begins in Sheen’s hometown of Port Talbot, South Wales. The Driscoll family are already fractured – parents Geoff and Dee have separated, son Owen is fragile and disconnected – but when civil unrest explodes in the town they’re forced to unite and flee.

Sort Your Life Out
BBC1, 9pm
As usual, Stacey Solomon and her squad of mess-busters have seven days to declutter, clean and reorganise a family home to transform the lives of its inhabitants. This week it’s the Bufton family. Dad Craig has been raising his young daughters Merywen and Wren since his wife passed away from cancer four years ago. So it’s sure to be an emotional process as he’s joined by close family to clear the way for a better future for him and the girls.

Inseparable Sisters

This inspirational documentary charts the lives of seven-year-old conjoined twins Marieme and Ndeye. The uplifting story shows how they defied the medical odds to not only survive, but to thrive – which is mainly down to their father Ibrahima’s selflessness and resolve to get them the best medical care possible. An emotional watch about the herculean effort put in by all those who care for the girls.

Poor Charity is being plagued by visions of Harry, the gangster she shot dead, in tonight’s hour-long episode. As she spirals out of control, her nightmares are starting to become all too real, and she lashes out in her sleep, believing she’s under attack. But it’s Mack who finds himself in the firing line, and he’s seriously injured. Will this be the final straw for Charity’s already fragile state of mind?
FRIDAY
Martin Compston’s Norwegian Fling
BBC2, 9pm
Cast your mind back to 2022, when Martin and his close pal Phil MacHugh went on a road trip to explore their native Scotland. Fast forward two years and they’re embarking on an adventure in nearby Norway in a six-part series, beginning in the capital Oslo, and finishing in the Arctic Circle. And it’s a case of zip-line of duty for Martin in the opener as he hurtles the length of a ski jump while attached to a wire 107 metres up.
