THURSDAY
The Apprentice
BBC1, 9pm
As the new series begins, we’re trying to work out which candidates are the big mouths who’ll face the finger in week one or two, who are the non-entities, who’ll drift unnoticed for a while, and who might actually make it to the final. As usual, it’s boys vs girls for the first task, as Lord Sugar sends the hopefuls to the Highlands to host a corporate away day.
FRIDAY

Slapstick is provided by Paul’s old inflatable dinghy and, if ear wax gives you the ick, it’s best to avert your eyes at around the 22-minute mark.
