SATURDAY
Wheel Of Fortune

What is it with classic US game shows? They’re like buses, as two have come along at once. Hot on the heels of Stephen Fry fronting a new version of Jeopardy!, here comes Graham Norton with the latest UK incarnation of Wheel Of Fortune, last revived here in 2001. Three contestants take on the iconic wheel and some hangman-style challenges with the aim of winning either a holiday or a life-changing sum of money.

FRIDAY
Beat The Chasers: Celebrity Special
ITV1, 9pm
It takes a brave – or foolhardy – person to challenge the greatest quiz team on the telly, and that still holds true when it’s a celebrity – like comic Chris McCausland, Nish Kumar, Alexander Armstrong or Mary Earps – doing it for a good cause. The trouble is, the Chasers – The Governess, Vixen, Menace, Dark Destroyer, Beast and Sinnerman – aren’t charitable when it comes to winning. Not even at Christmas!
