A humiliated Stephen forms a wicked new plan to get his hands on the cash he needs. And it could be the death of Audrey...
Desperate for cash, Stephen is delighted this week when he’s invited to attend an interview for consultancy work with an advertising agency. But the call goes badly, and to add to his woes, the only job he’s offered is as a fast-food delivery driver!
It’s a bitter pill for the former businessman to swallow, but Stephen knows he must accept the position, and so he prepares for his first day behind the wheel. To his horror, he finds himself having to deliver to Drake – the very man with whom he had his disastrous interview, and who finds the entire situation hilarious!
Pushed to breaking point, Stephen quits the job in disgust and starts scheming to get the money he needs by exploiting Audrey again. Dripping poison in Nick’s ear, he says sending Sam on a cruise with his great gran isn’t a good idea, as Audrey is drinking again, but his nephew insists the holiday is still on. So, with the walls closing in, Stephen concocts another, more deadly, plan...
At the salon, he steals Audrey’s antidepressants and, inviting Nick to join them in the Rovers, he crushes the pills and gets set to spike his mum’s drink. What will happen to Audrey if Stephen goes through with his evil plot?
