ITV - weekdays (Thurs 1 hr)
Emotionally exhausted after recent traumatic events, Liv is grateful for Paddy’s support this week when he persuades her to take the day off work. However, her relief at having time alone to process what has happened is short-lived, as on returning to Mill Cottage, she finds a menacing Terry lying in wait.
Trying to conceal her terror, Liv stands her ground when the thug demands she retract her statement to the police – however, he’s not prepared to take no for an answer and very soon their confrontation turns violent. As the petrified youngster attempts to fight him off, Terry knocks her unconscious and, panic-stricken, bolts from the house – only to run straight into a very familiar face. Aaron is back in Emmerdale!
Immediately realising something is terribly wrong, Aaron attacks Terry, but Harriet interrupts their tussle, and as the paramedics arrive to take a severely injured Liv to hospital, her brother is arrested. Chas is stunned to see her son back in the village and rages at Harriet when she refuses to release him. Meanwhile, Vinny is distraught on hearing what’s happened to his wife and quickly heads off to see her.
Once he’s released from custody, Aaron and Chas arrive to visit Liv, but are devastated when Vinny turns them away, insisting she wants nothing to do with her brother. As he’s left wondering whether returning was a massive mistake, can Aaron make peace with the sibling he hurt so badly? And will a very poorly Liv even survive to hear his apology?
